Art is something that is in my blood. As early as I can remember, I had a paint brush in my hand. My maternal grandmother is a muralist by trade, and as I was growing up I spent a lot of time with her at various job sites. She was always putting a pencil or paintbrush in my hand and encouraging me to advance my skills and teaching me various techniques, and tricks of the trade.
But over the years, and through many hardships, drawing became on outlet for my sadness, and as I grew and moved forward, I needed a creative outlet that reflected my happiness. So, after dabbling in many different areas of the arts, I have finally found a niche that feeds my soul: fashion design and apparel construction; sewing.
